First example in Cyprus of a wide commercial building with base seismic isolation.The plan dimensions of the building are 224 by 90 m, while the height is 12.80 m; the 10.00 m by 16.00 m center line structure features composite steel-concrete main and secondary beams framed with steel columns; the reinforced concrete slab is supported by deformed steel sheets.

The plan dimensions of the building are 224 by 90 m, while the height is 12.80 m; the 10.00 m by 16.00 m center line structure features composite steel-concrete main and secondary beams framed with steel columns; the reinforced concrete slab is supported by deformed steel sheets.

The total surface of the three level building is 60480 m2 while the volume is 774200 m3.

The building is separated in two parts of 112 by 90 m by a structural joint; the isolators are located under the ground floor structure at the top of reinforced concrete columns protruding from the foundations and extended in the basement parking.

The fail safe system is constituted by emi-spherical rubber and steel bumpers which touch concrete buttress at the end of the design displacement of the isolators.
