The tower is located in a seismic zone and is composed of six giant ribs constituted by tridimensional precast elements which feature dry, postensioned joints and support precast floor and stair slabs.
The lower operating rooms are covered by thin hypar shells built using the shotcreting technique and supported by precast X shaped elements.
