SOFIA VLACHAKI

Graduated from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2018 and from Politecnico di Milano in 2021, she has been working for Redesco Progetti  since 2022 and is a registered engineer in Greece (Technical Chamber of Greece). In Redesco she collaborates with the structural design team dealing with structural analysis, FEM modelling and analysis, drafting technical reports and graphic designs.  During her professional experience she has been occupied with both design of new residential and industrial buildings as well as with the seismic assessment and retrofitting of existing ones. She is particularly interested in seismic design and is familiar with Greek seismic legislation in addition to European and Italian technical building regulations.
